What are DoggoZ products made of?
All DoggoZ dog leashes, dog collars, and dog accessories are handcrafted from original BioThane® (from the USA). BioThane is a strong polyester webbing with a protective polymer coating. It looks and feels like leather but is 100% waterproof, dirt-repellent, stink-proof, and vegan. For our hardware, we use highly durable materials, including heavy-duty aluminum Auto-Lock carabiners.

Is BioThane® strong enough for a large, pulling dog?
Yes, absolutely! BioThane® is incredibly strong, but the exact break strength depends on the width of the leash you choose. We offer three different widths to match your dog's size and pulling power:
✔ 13mm width: Breaking strength of 220kg
✔ 16mm width: Breaking strength of 280kg
✔ 19mm width: Breaking strength of 340kg
Our SAFE Series is specifically designed for strong pullers and reactive dogs, using heavy-duty hardware to ensure maximum security.
Is the Auto-Lock carabiner easy to use?
Absolutely. It is designed for quick attachment but requires a specific "twist and pull" motion to open. This prevents the leash from accidentally snapping open if your dog shakes, rolls, or hits the clip against a rock or tree. It gives you peace of mind.

My dog chewed on my leash. Now what?
While BioThane is extremely durable, weather-resistant, and strong during regular walks, it is not chew-proof. If your dog loves to chew, we highly recommend not leaving them unattended with their gear. Unfortunately, damage caused by chewing is not covered under our warranty.
Shipping and Production
What is the crafting time for my DoggoZ product?
We handcraft every DoggoZ item specifically for you, our production time is usually 1–3 business days before we dispatch your order.
Do you ship to my country?
We currently ship to a select number of countries within the European Union, including the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and several others (you can see the full list of available countries in the dropdown menu at checkout).
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to ship to countries with highly complex and costly local packaging regulations (such as France and Spain). Because DoggoZ is still a small, growing business, complying with these specific laws is financially and administratively difficult for us right now. We are working hard to grow, and we truly hope to add these destinations in the near future as we scale up!
What are the shipping costs?
We believe that high shipping costs shouldn't stand in the way of getting great gear for your dog. That's why our shipping rates are significantly lower than the average webshop of our size!
Shipping is free to the Netherlands and Belgium on orders over €75! For orders under €75, or for shipping to any of our other available EU destinations, the exact shipping costs and transit times will be calculated automatically at checkout based on your delivery address.
Returns & Warranty
What is your return policy?
We want you to be thrilled with your DoggoZ gear! However, because the majority of our BioThane® items are handcrafted to your unique specifications (length, color, and hardware), custom and made-to-order items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Only non-customized, "standard stock" items are eligible for return within 15 days of delivery, and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Do you offer a warranty on DoggoZ gear?
Yes! We stand behind our craftsmanship and provide a 2-year limited warranty on manufacturing defects and hardware performance under normal use.
Please note that natural wear and tear, asphalt abrasion, or damage caused by chewing/biting are not covered.

Care & Maintenance
How do I clean my BioThane® gear?
One of the best things about BioThane® is that it’s waterproof and stink-proof. If it gets muddy, simply wipe it down with a damp cloth or rinse it under the tap. For stubborn dirt, use a little bit of mild soap. It will look brand new in seconds!
How do I maintain the hardware (especially after saltwater or sand)?
While our gear is built for extreme adventures, the moving parts inside the clips and Auto-Lock carabiners require a little love to stay safe and smooth.
Beach & Mud Walks: Saltwater and sand are the biggest enemies of any metal mechanism. If you visit the beach or walk in heavy mud, you must thoroughly rinse the metal clips with fresh tap water afterwards.
Drying & Oiling: Let the hardware dry completely. To keep the springs moving smoothly and prevent stiffness or rust, we highly recommend applying a tiny drop of WD-40, ballistol, or oil to the moving parts every now and then.
