Is this hands-free leash suitable for your situation?

Our Hands-Free Adjustable Dog Leash is designed to give you and your dog ultimate freedom and peace of mind during a relaxing walk.

However, due to its specific design, this leash is not the best choice for every situation. Please take note of the following:

1. Not for hard pullers or reactive dogs

The absolute focal point of this leash is the slidable O-ring. Although BioThane® is extremely strong, this specific ring is secured with a single rivet to keep the leash smoothly adjustable. If your dog constantly pulls hard, suddenly bolts into the leash with full force, or shows reactive behavior, we advise against using this leash. (Tip: in that case, keep an eye out for our upcoming Utility Belt with extra reinforced rings!).

2. Keep the 3-meter length in mind:

This leash is intentionally made longer (3 meters) so your dog can comfortably sniff, pee, and explore without you constantly having to disconnect the leash from your body.

3. Small dog or puppy?

Are you walking a young puppy or a smaller dog, or do you simply want to keep your dog close beside you on a busy bike path? Due to its length, the leash might drag on the ground. In that case, we advise attaching the leash to the dog's back harness (this keeps the leash higher off the ground) or simply looping the carabiner through one of the higher rings on the leash. This makes the leash a bit shorter and prevents tripping!
