Which width should I choose?

Select the width that best fits your dog's size and behavior:

16mm – Universal & Lightweight

  • Best for: Small to medium-sized dogs.
  • Hardware: Lighter weight for maximum comfort.
  • Breaking Strength: Silver hardware up to 200kg, Black hardware up to 150kg.
  • Leash: 16mm Biothane (the perfect balance between grip and weight).

19mm – Heavy Duty & Strong

  • Best for: Large dogs, strong pullers, or reactive dogs.
  • Hardware: Features thicker and larger D-Rings and O-Rings for added security.
  • Breaking Strength: Silver hardware up to 280kg, Black hardware up to 200kg.
  • Leash: 19mm Biothane (wider surface for more control and durability).

Unstoppable Safety: 400kg Carabiners

While we provide honest advice regarding the breaking strength of our adjustment rings, the core of our leash is built for extreme power:

  • Auto-Locking Carabiners: Every leash features two lightweight carabiners with a massive 400kg breaking strength each.
  • Pro Tip: For maximum security with very strong or reactive dogs, we recommend clipping the carabiners directly to the collar and harness. The rings are designed for versatility and hands-free options, but the carabiner remains your primary safety anchor.

Note: In general, Silver hardware offers higher breaking strength than Black hardware. If safety is your #1 priority for a high-energy dog, we always recommend the 19mm width with Silver hardware.
